I am Gethanjali, and I am proud to be a beneficiary of a CSR initiative implemented by Native Medicare Charitable Trust (NMCT) with the support of Walkaroo under the Valvizhi initiative. Coming from a modest background, I always aspired to learn a skill that could help me become financially independent.
Through this initiative, I received free tailoring training, which helped me develop professional stitching skills and the confidence to believe in my abilities. After successfully completing the training, I took a courageous step and started my own tailoring unit.
Today, I earn a steady income, support my family, and work towards building a secure future. This opportunity did more than teach me a skill. It strengthened my confidence, independence, and hope. My journey stands as a reminder that the right support and skill development can truly transform lives.
