Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective from 10 September 2026.

Donations to Native Medicare Charitable Trust, a public charitable trust registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 (Registration No. 448/1988), with its registered office at 5/39, Kalappanaickenpalayam, Somayampalayam Post, Coimbatore 641 108, Tamil Nadu, India ("NMCT") are voluntary gifts and are, as a rule, not refundable: once received, funds are committed to programme work. We do make exceptions for genuine mistakes, and we act on them quickly.

When we refund

We refund a donation in full where:

  • you were charged more than once for the same donation;

  • you entered the wrong amount and tell us promptly;

  • the transaction was not authorised by you;

  • a technical failure debited you without the donation reaching us.

How to ask for a refund

Write to info@nmctngo.org or call +91 422 2401747 within 7 days of the transaction. Give the donor's name, the amount, the date and the transaction reference from your receipt or bank statement. We acknowledge every request within 2 working days.

How refunds are made

  • An approved refund is made to the same payment method and account the donation came from. We cannot refund to a different account.

  • We initiate the refund within 7 working days of approving it. Your bank or card issuer usually credits it within a further 5 to 10 working days.

  • NMCT deducts no fee from a refund. Payment gateway charges that are not returned to us are absorbed by NMCT.

  • If an 80G receipt was already issued for the donation, it is cancelled and the donation is excluded from our statement of donations to the Income Tax Department. Please do not claim a deduction for a refunded donation.

Cancellation

A donation on this site is a single, one-time payment. There is no subscription or recurring mandate, so there is nothing to cancel. A payment abandoned or failed before confirmation costs you nothing.

Failed and pending payments

If your account was debited but no receipt arrived, the payment did not complete and the amount is normally reversed by your bank within 5 to 7 working days. That reversal is made by the bank, not by us. If it has not appeared after 7 working days, write to info@nmctngo.org with the transaction reference and we will take it up with Razorpay on your behalf.
