About the programme
The Community Holistic Development Programme supports vulnerable communities in Mopurapalli, Kolladam, and Kacherallem villages through community-based development initiatives and stakeholder engagement. A scoping study was conducted to identify community needs and plan the next phase of the programme. The Education Department was approached to seek project permission and advocate for the construction of an Anganwadi centre to improve access to early childhood care and development services. In Kolladam village, a meeting was held with Panchayat Raj Institution (PRI) members, Sri City Foundation, and the ICDS Department to discuss the proposed Anganwadi centre and coordinate further action. Additionally, 120 HAK kits were distributed to vulnerable families in Kacherapalem village to provide essential support.
