NMCT & Journey of Rojakootam

Native Medicare Charitable Trust (NMCT) is working for the welfare of the people and children who are underprivileged / vulnerable by providing care & support, education, treatment since 2002 through various project interventions. NMCT is also particularly focusing on Health & Hygiene and Quality Education of the children from HIV/AIDS infected families, Tribal, Migrants, child labourers and other vulnerable communities.

In our intervention area, we have identified more than 5000 families infected / affected by HIV/AIDS, 2000 tribal families and thousands of Migrants families in Tirupur and Coimbatore Districts. There are over 3000 children belonging to this background are lacking proper education due to family circumstances and poverty. These underprivileged and vulnerable children often drop out from schools for not affording payment for Higher Education, purchase of school note books / bags /educational materials.

NMCT mobilise these underprivileged children under one roof – “ROJAKOOTAM” Children Forum with the objective of providing sustainable educational support with the Donations / Contributions from the philanthropists.

The Rojakootam program will be held in Tirupur on 29.05.2022 and Coimbatore on 05.06.2022. NMCT with the support of philanthropists mobilize School Uniforms, School Bags, Note Books and Higher Education support and distribute to around 1500 children from HIV / AIDS infected families, Tribal and other vulnerable communities, so that these underprivileged children can continue their higher education. The aim of the program is to eradicate and reduce the burden of the children from dropout and to create opportunity for their higher education with the future plan.
