On 06.12.2018, we planned to make Thippanur village as Plastic free Village. With support of Green friends and 20 NTT Volunteers, we have arranged to clean the village, they plucked all the plastic wastes, covers etc and dumped in the garbage truck which came back to them. All the volunteers done a great job by cleaning the village.

NMCT was organized the distribution of new dresses to students at Thoomanur and Kondanur tribal Villages. The program was held on 04.12.2018, after getting permission from DFO, we entered the tribal village Thoomanur with 31 Volunteers. In Thoomanur, the students of 8th std sung a tribal song and welcomed all the volunteers. There the volunteers distributed the new clothes to the students. The students are very happy to receive the new clothes. After that we went to Kondanur Tribal school, there also volunteers distributed the dresses to students. Totally 89 students benefited in this event.

In Panchayat union middle school conducted Eye screening camp for the school students on 03.12.2018. Eye screening camp conducted by Lotus Eye Hospital to identify the eye problems of students. Totally 108 school students and 30 Anganwadi childrens benefited by this camp. 22 NTT volunteers played a major role in this event

General medical camp was organized for the peoples of Narasimhanaickenpalayam village on 02.12.2018. Dr.Boopathy M.B.B.S., D.C.H, Medical Officer of Coimbatore Medical College hospital has done the general camp for the beneficiaries followed by blood test to identify sugar, blood pressure, weight and Hemoglobin. Totally 67 persons got benefitted and 21 volunteers done their maximum level best.

Making More Health and KKS, Germany has jointly organized a Intercultural cum experience sharing exposure visit for a group of 19 German delegates organised by Mrs. Manuela Pastore, to have understanding of cultural exposure and the range of interventions that have happened on the social work front in India. The Team visited the HOPE Project, Abhaya Students Shelter, Abhaya Sadan Elderly Home and Vimuktha Federation.

28 and 29 September 2018 | Native Medicare Charitable Trust
The 30th Anniversary of NMCT Day was celebrated on 28th & 29th of September 2018. A common meeting was conducted at NMCT HO to celebrate the 30 years of NMCT. Managing Trustee and other Trustees, Staff members attended and discussed about the NMCT evolution.
On 28th, all the staff members made field visit in and around NMCT office and distributed NMCT brochures to propagate about NMCT interventions for the most disadvantaged people. On 29th NMCT staff members visited Kuzhiyur tribal village (Anaikatti Hills) and planted 50 fruit saplings in the lands of poor Tribes.

NMCT Conducts Rojakootam Day every year during the month of May in order to facilitate distribution of education support. Education materials such as Uniforms, School Bags, Notebooks and Stationary Items are distributed free of cost every year. Education support for Higher Education is also provided for the very needy children.
This years Rojakootam Day celebrations take place on May 27th at Shri Nehru Arts & Science College, Thirumalayampalayam, Coimbatore. NMCT has proposed to support 1000 underprivileged children with education materials

The health camp was conducted in 5 schools from 26th mar to 28th mar 2018, eye screening was done in respective schools in total 658 children and 17 teachers were participated in the camp.
