The Rojakoottam Day celebrations 2018 conducted by Native Medicare Charitable Trust(NMCT) had brought smiles and jubilation over 1000 poor and deprived children gathered at Nehru Arts and Science College on 27.05.2018. The Children Mobilized through various development interventions of NMCT under the umbrella “RojaKoottam were provided with free school bags, Note Books and other education materials.
Hon’ble Justice Sri.S.Vaidhyanathan of Madras High Court participated as a Chief Guest and inaugurated the support delivery of education materials to the poor and needy children.
Dr.B.Anirudhan, Principal, Nehru Arts and Science College inaugurated the program in the August presence of Dr.P.Krishnakumar, CEO & Secretary of Nehru Group of Institutions.Mr.Ralf Tepel, Executive Director, Kari Kuebel Stiftung, Germany graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor.
Dr.K.P.Krishnamoorthi former Director of Tamilnadu Health Services, Dr.N.S.Iyer, Consultant, UNICEF , Dr.K.Mahedevan, Medical Officer, PSG Hospitals and Ln.Viswanathan offered felicitations. Previously Mr.A.S.Sankaranarayanan Director, NMCT welcomed the gathering and addressed the concept of Rojakoottam and its impacts on the poor children.
