Annual Staff Review Meeting 2019

The major activities of each project during 2019 along with the accomplishments and achievements were presented during the Annual Staff Review meeting conducted at NMCT Head Office on 31.12.2019. The Best Staff were awarded based on the performance appraisal in each project.
Advisory board members Shri.C.S.Vaidyanathan, Senior Advocate- Supreme Court, Shri.P.V.Subramaniam, Charted Accountant & Management Consultant and all the other trustees of the organization were also presented, appreciated the performance and services of the organization, further suggested for future development. They also gave away the awards to the Best Staff.

CSR SYMPOSIUM 2019

The one day National Level ‘CSR SYMPOSIUM 2019’ was jointly organized by Native Medicare Charitable Trust (NMCT) and Department of Social Work, Hindusthan College of Arts & Science on 16.12.2019, at the Library Hall, Hindusthan College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore. The key objective of the symposium was to understand current CSR scenario and evolve a way forward. This includes exploring the possibility of promoting a collective platform for dialogue, cross learning, and research; and identifying sustainable CSR models with relevant strategies, valid indicators, and criteria for impact assessment. Senior management and CSR Heads of prominent companies; representatives from commercial associations, NGOs, CBOs, social auditors, development consultants, and Heads of Departments of Social Work and Management Institutions numbering 123 people participated in the symposium. The presentations included “Best Practices in CSR”, Challenges in Implementation”, “Scope of Research in CSR” and “Conviction, Commitment, Compliances and Continuity”. This program was a way forward to build the capacity of CBOs and to strengthen civil society organizations, and generate opportunities for such organizations to work more effectively to their communities and also enable them to access CSR funds beyond geographical borders.

Diwali Program 2019

We have conducted deepawali program for vulnerable children at Tirupur Sewa Samti, collaboration with Lions Club of Tirupur Knit City, Tirupur Sewa Samiti and Leo Club Kumaran College. More than 400 children and their parents were participated and distributed new cloths, sweets and savouries.

Sprit of WIPRO RUN 2019

WIPRO is participating with us in their WIPRO Care Volunteer Program for the last two years. They invited NMCT and Children of various interventions to take part in the Sprit of WIPRO Run 2019 held on 22.09.19 at WIPRO Campus, Tidel Park, Coimbatore.
Around 105 Children along with the Trustees and Project Managers participated in the program. Our children participated in the Sprit of WIPRO RUN 2019 and they won all the First 3 Medals and Certificates. And also participated in the Cultural Programs.


General Manager – Project (Mondelez), Visit

Ms. Sumita Kirti, General Manager – Project (Mondelez), Save The Children visited the Shubh Aarambh Project Anamalai on 18.09.19 for the evaluation of the 3rd year activities of the phase 2.0 and for the Video Documentation of the impact of the project activities. Next day on 19.09.19 she had elaborate discussions with the Partner Director at Head Office regarding the “No Plastic and Recycling of Plastic” and also establishing Green Walls ( Vertical Gardens ) using the waste plastic materials.

CGM Visit

Sep 2019 | Native Medicare Charitable Trust

Mr. Biju, General Manager and Mr. Baskar, AGM from NABARD Regional Office, Chennai visited our NABARD TDF Project on 06.09.19, in connection with our new proposal submitted to NABARD. They also had elaborate discussions in the forenoon of 07.09.19 and made valuable suggestions for the development of the TDF Project.
Later Smt.Padma Venkatesh, Chief General Manager joined with them at NMCT Head Office for a presentation on the new project proposals and further discussions.

FORD Motors - Global Caring Month

A Ford motors is celebrating GLOBAL CARING MONTH every year in the month of September. This year FORD team put hands together with Native Medicare Charitable Trust to celebrate the GLOBAL CARING MONTH in Coimbatore. Seven Government schools have been selected for the GCM 2019 activities and programs like drawing and slogan event on Water Conservation Methods and its importance were conducted. Mural paintings on water conservation and tree plantation were also the part of the GCM. More than 100 FORD Volunteers corps involved in the event.

LIFE Project

Aug 2019 | Native Medicare Charitable Trust

LIFE Project, a new initiative funded by Karl Kubel Stiftung, Germany conducted the Advocacy and Consultation Meeting on HIV / AIDS Prevention and Control Act 2017 at TEA Hall, Tirupur 08.08.2019 Ms. Heike Salvador, Co ordinator, Development Cooperation, KKS Germany preside over the program. Hon’ble Judge Smt.S. Alli, M.L., Honourable Principal District Judge / Chairman, District Legal Service Authority, Tirupur District inaugurated the program. Mr. Raja N. Shanmugam, Chairman, TEA, Tirupur was the Chief Guest.
The advocacy meeting was followed by the consultation meeting in the afternoon in which Ms. Heike Salvador, Dr. Mohamed Esoof, Dr. T.S. Ram Kumar, Advt. Berlin, Mr. Alphonse Raj, Mr. Charles , Mr. Mathew P. Thomas and Mr . Ramapandian participated.

14th Rojakootam Day Celebrations 2019

April 2019 | Native Medicare Charitable Trust

“The 14th Rojakootam Day Celebrations 2019” was conducted in a grand manner on 28.04.19 at Nehru Arts and Science College, T M Palayam, Madukkarai, Coimbatore. Mr. A.S. Sankaranarayanan, Managing Trustee welcomed the gathering and thanked all the donors and stake holders for supporting the Rojakootam children over the years. PMJF Ln. S. Motilal Kataria, Dist Governor, Lions International Dist 324 B1 inaugurated the celebrations and initiated the support distribution. Around 1000 deprived and destitute children have been distributed with free education materials. Dignitaries from Lions Clubs, Other NGOs, Positive Networks, Associations and Corporates also participated in the program. Dr.B. Anirudhan, Principal Nehru Arts and Science College, who presided over the program has made excellent arrangements for the success of the program.

Annual Get together & Annual Review at Gopanari

30 & 31-12-2018 | Native Medicare Charitable Trust

Annual Get together of NMCT Staff was conducted at Gopanari in a grand manner on 30.12.18, followed by Annual Staff Performance Review Meeting on 31.12.18. All the staff of NMCT and Children of few staff members participated in the program. All the staff gathered by 9.00.A.M. at Gopanari.
The sports and games were conducted for the staff members and the children and prizes were distributed to the winners. Cultural programs were conducted by each of the project staffs and the winners were awarded with gifts. The get together concluded with the traditional tribal dance.
The Annual Staff Performance Review Meeting was conducted on 31.12.18 with the power point presentation by each of the project for the whole year. The best staffs were awarded based on their knowledge assessment, project performance and organization development works.
The Advisory Board Member Shri.C.S. Vaidhynathan, participated as the Chief Guest and honoured the Trustees of the organization and the senior staff members on this occasion.
